AI station belonging to ETKÜ has 96 breeding bulls, from which about 300,000 doses of high-quality semen are produced annually.

The AI station is approved in accordance with EEC88/407, which allows to sell semen throughout the European Union. Breeding material has been sold to Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Turkey and the Netherlands.

Semen is collected from bulls of 3 dairy breeds and 10 beef breeds.

In the laboratory of the AI station, beef bulls participating in the test group shall be subjected to a sperm reproductive test. All bulls that have passed the test receive a sperm quality certificate.
